The Seahawks will start Kyle Williams at left tackle in Week 6.
An undrafted free agent out of USC in 2007, Williams has appeared in five career games with two starts. The Seahawks made do without Walter Jones (knee) and Sean Locklear (ankle) in Week 5 against Jacksonville’s league-worst pass rush, but that’s unlikely to keep up against Arizona this Sunday.
  • Seahawks waived OT Kyle Williams.
The former USC right tackle could go to the practice squad.
  • Seahawks waived OT Kyle Williams.
Williams will likely land back on the practice squad.
  • Seahawks signed OT Kyle Williams off their practice squad.
Aging LT Walter Jones keeps having setbacks with his knee and there are now rumors that he could miss the season. Williams will take FB Justin Griffith’s place on the roster.
  • Seahawks signed OT Kyle Williams off their practice squad.
It’s the exact same move the Seahawks made last week when Williams was signed off the practice squad Saturday and then waived on Monday. The Seahawks’ offensive line is so ravaged that they need Williams for depth weekly right now.
  • Seahawks waived OT Kyle Williams.
Williams started at left tackle in Week 6 and was manhandled by the Cardinals’ defensive line. He’ll return to the practice squad if he clears waivers. The team is hoping Walter Jones (knee) can play after this week’s bye.

Seahawks waived C Ben Claxton, C Nick Jones, DBs Jamar Adams and Kelin Johnson, QB Dalton Bell, DT Kevin Brown, WRs Michael Bumpus and Trent Shelton, T Kyle Williams, and DE Nu’u Tafisi.
Claxton can resume plans to go to law school. The rest can try to catch on elsewhere.
  • Seahawks signed OT Kyle Williams from the practice squad.
The lanky former USC Trojan will be Seattle’s No. 4 tackle.
