Michael Myers was traded to Denver as part of the Reuben Droughns - Ebenezer Ekuban deal.
Two Mike Myers(also the Red Sox pitcher) trades in one day?!? This has to be some sort of record.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #94
Bengals DT Justin Smith (hamstring) will start on Sunday.
Smith has only one sack this season. It’s a contract year for him, so the production is a huge disappointment. DT John Thornton’s status is a game-time decision against Buffalo. Thornton’s backup is veteran Michael Myers.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Bengals released DT Michael Myers and claimed DL Orien Harris (Saints) and G Frank Davis (Lions) off waivers.
Myers is a penetrating tackle and the Bengals are asking their down linemen to tie up blockers more this year. Harris can play both tackle and end.
  • NO Defensive Lineman
Broncos signed DL Alvin McKinley to a four-year, $8 million contract.
McKinley has played defensive end in Cleveland’s 3-4 defense the past six years but will likely move to tackle in Denver’s 4-3, replacing free agent Michael Myers. The seven-year vet has recorded nine sacks since 2003.
  • FA Defensive Lineman
Bengals DT Domata Peko will start following Sam Adams’ release.
Peko was highly productive as a rookie and can play both the nose and under tackle spots. He’ll start alongside John Thornton or Michael Myers.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
The Broncos are expected to make re-signing defensive tackle Michael Myers their top priority before the free-agency period.
With 41 stops and two sacks, Myers is on pace for his best statistical season since 2001. The 30 year-old could be in line for a three- or four-year deal if Denver decides Demetrin Veal isn’t ready to take over inside.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Bengals signed DT Michael Myers, former of the Broncos, to a two-year, $1.65 million contract, including a $100,000 signing bonus.
Myers is a serviceable role player and will help Cincy’s poor depth at defensive tackle.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Broncos offered DT Michael Myers a contract.
Dan Wilkinson is no longer coming to town and Denver needs depth. Myers will see if he gets any other offers before taking the deal.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Free agent DT Michael Myers visited the Bengals on Monday night.
The Broncos made Myers a contract offer in March but he turned it down. Myers could replace John Thornton in Cincinnati’s starting lineup.
  • CIN Defensive Lineman
Broncos defensive tackle Michael Myers and guard Cooper Carlisle are both expected to be unsigned when the free agency period begins.
Denver could be looking to cut ties with the “Browncos,” as Kenard Lang and Ebenezer Ekuban’s futures with the club are also uncertain. Carlisle, 30 next season, will likely appeal to a zone-blocking team.
