UCLA senior LB Mitchell Agude entered the transfer portal.
Agude (6'4/245) arrived in UCLA in 2020 as a JUCO transfer and was a starter right out of the gate, logging 285 snaps in seven games while earning a rock solid 83.6 defensive grade from PFF, with a superb 86.5 run defense grade. This year he logged 531 reps while creating 38 pressures and 4.0 sacks, but his overall defensive grade dropped to 70.6. Given his productivity at the Power Five level, you’d have to expect Agude will have a robust transfer market in his final college season.

Per Pro Football Focus, Agude has registered three sacks, nine hurries and three hits on quarterbacks this season, while also forcing three fumbles. The Bruins (2-1) will hope Agude is ready to go in Week 4 when they travel to face Stanford (2-1) on Saturday.

UCLA received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 JUCO LB Mitchell Agude.
Agude (6'4/235) is considered the top JUCO outside linebacker in the class in the eyes of the good folks at 247Sports, and the 19th best junior college player, overall. In addition to the Bruins, he has offers from schools like Maryland, South Alabama, and San Jose State. Considering the mess that is the UCLA defense, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Agude competed for playing time immediately in 2020.
