Ravens re-signed LS Nick Moore to a two-year, $2.5 million contract.
The snapper of balls that go a further distance than regular balls for Baltimore the last three years, this will take Moore through his age-33 season. Moore had been non-tendered earlier this week, but was quickly brought back. He was a second-team All-Pro last season at his job, which, again, is snapping balls that go longer than other balls. He will continue to be the person tasked with doing this for players such as Justin Tucker -- who kicks balls further than balls are normally kicked -- in 2023.

  • BAL Quarterback #5
Ravens re-signed QB Tyler Huntley to a one-year contract.
Trystan Colon, Nick Moore, Geno Stone, Kristian Welch, and Ty’Son Williams were also re-signed. Huntley and the rest of the players were ERFAs. Baltimore tendered them meaning all will return on one-year deals. Huntley started four games while applying the bulk of a fifth contest last year. He threw three touchdowns and four interceptions but also rushed for two scores and 294 yards. Huntley looked like a typical backup but his rushing ability makes it easy to keep the offense unchanged whenever Lamar Jackson is forced from the lineup. Though there’s no quarterback controversy in Baltimore, Huntley is a valuable piece of the roster because of his skill set.

  • BAL Long Snapper #46
Georgia senior LS Nick Moore accepted an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Moore (6'3/250) has been the long snapper all season for the Bulldogs, and the fact that you may not know who he is is probably a good thing; we generally only hear about a long snapper if he struggles. It’s very uncommon for a player at this position to be drafted, but Moore will look to impress scouts and get looks either as a late-round pick or priority free agent.
