Maybe like half the league was interested in Javon Walker in March. Thurman has cleared waivers and will likely have to take a deal for the minimum. The Oakland Tribune’s Jerry McDonald suggests the Raiders could be in the mix.

Thurman did not practice Monday and showed up to camp 10-15 pounds overweight. If Thurman is going to play this year, it’d be a shock if he wasn’t starting eventually. He’s the team’s best linebacker.
