The Vikings are among many teams pursuing recently released C Pete Kendall.
    Miami is another possibility.
  • Jets G Pete Kendall (hamstring) reportedly could be “out a while.”
Kendall pulled the hammy in the Jets’ Week 1 win. Norm Katnik, or Trey Teague if he’s healthy, would step in and start for Kendall on New York’s otherwise-inexperienced offensive line.
  • Jets G Pete Kendall left Sunday’s opener with a pulled hamstring.
New York can ill afford to lose an experienced starting offensive lineman on their youthful line. Kendall is questionable to return.
  • The Jets may be without both starting guards against the 49ers this week. Left guard Pete Kendall will not play because of a toe injury, while right guard Brandon Moore is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
The ‘Niners aren’t a great defense, but this could still cut into Curtis Martin’s rushing yards a wee bit.
  • Starting guards Pete Kendall (toe) and Brandon Moore (hamstring) were upgraded to probable for week seven.
Both guards missed week six, although it didn’t hurt the Jets running game.
  • The Jets will be missing guards Pete Kendall and Brandon Moore for week six.
Kendall has been a difference maker since arriving in August. He’s listed as out, Moore is listed as doubtful.
  • The Jets will move Pete Kendall from guard to center following Kevin Mawae’s injury.
Kendall was a fine center while playing in Arizona. Brandon Moore will move to guard.
  • With Kevin Mawae (triceps) out for the season, Pete Kendall will switch to center for the Jets.
''We have to adjust on the offensive line,” Kendall said. “I’ve played center, but it’s been a couple of years. My rhythm and cadence on the long snap is much different than Kevin’s, so we’re going to have to get used to things like that. It’s my job to make sure it goes smoothly.”
