Antonio Brown shares a laugh with punter he kicked in face

Cleveland Browns v Pittsburgh Steelers

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown treated Browns punter Spencer Lanning like Johnny Lawrence in the All-Valley Karate Championship Sunday.

But he was careful to find Lanning after the game to make sure everything was understood.

Brown kicked Lanning in the face while trying to hurdle him, which became a highlight because he lacked elevation.

“I definitely had a conversation with him and I think he had a sense of humor about it and he understood what was intended on the play,” Brown said, via Scott Brown of ESPN.com. “I think [Lanning] understood there was no intent to injure anyone.”

Brown was flagged on the play, though he said he was just trying to make a “football play.”

We’ll find out how the league feels later this week, if they do the crane maneuver on Brown’s wallet.
