The Rams have somewhat less than perfect attendance at OTAs this week, with two more guys not around who yearn to be free.

In addition to quarterback Nick Foles, the Rams are also without running back Tre Mason and safety T.J. McDonald.

According to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, both Mason and McDonald are expected to miss all of OTAs after their offseason arrests.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher merely cited “personal reasons.”

Mason was arrested in Florida in March on drug and traffic charges, and then failed to appear in court.

McDonald was arrested in May for driving under the influence of something other than alcohol. A scheduled Friday court date has been pushed back.

All this while Foles has concerns about his viability on the roster, despite the fact the Rams have already given him a $6 million bonus and his $1.75 million salary is guaranteed. He hasn’t shown up for any workouts since the Rams traded up and drafted quarterback Jared Goff with the first pick.

And Rams fans, after 20 years of peace, are learning again what an NFL offseason is all about.
