Big day for little-known Studebaker

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Andy Studebaker got his first career NFL start today against the Steelers.

He’s making the most of it.

Studebaker has intercepted Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger twice in the third quarter of today’s game. The second interception came in the end zone, ending a long Steelers drive, and Studebaker ran it back 94 yards before Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall finally caught him from behind and tackled him at the 8-yard line.

Studebaker, who went to Division-III Wheaton College in Illinois, started in place of the injured Mike Vrabel. He’s showing that he belongs today, and he’s a big reason reason the Chiefs are still in the game in the fourth quarter.
