The team whose coach claimed in June it won the offseason is apparently trying to stop a run of August losses.

Via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Bills linebacker Manny Lawson agreed to talk to reporters after practice. However, team employees intervened before Lawson could speak.

Lawson’s situation has been clouded in mystery ever since a report emerged that he’s facing a one-game suspension under the Personal Conduct Policy, with no clarity on what he allegedly did to come under the NFL’s scrutiny.

The Lawson situation follows suspensions to running back Karlos Williams and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus. Williams was recently cut, and Dareus recently left the team to enter rehab.
