Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall spent this week in a New York City courtroom for a civil trial related to a 2012 altercation outside a nightclub.
Marshall was being sued by a woman who alleged that the wideout hit her in the face and was seeking at least $75,000 in damages. Marshall was never arrested or charged with a crime as a result of the incident and testified on Thursday that he did not hit Christin Myles.
The jury in the case sided with Marshall, who was found not liable Friday for any injuries Myles may have sustained.
Dom Cosentino of NJ.com reports that one juror said after the case that video evidence used during the case was insufficient to prove Marshall caused any injury and that the jury would not have awarded any financial damages if Marshall had been found liable.
