The Cleveland Browns claimed offensive tackle Andrew McDonald off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday.
The Browns are the fourth team McDonald has been with this season. McDonald was signed off the Carolina Panthers practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks in September and was active for two games for the team before being released.
After spending time on Seattle’s practice squad, McDonald was released altogether and signed with the Colts. McDonald was never active for a game in Indianapolis. He was waived by the Colts on Monday.
To make room on their roster, the Browns released veteran linebacker Zac Diles.
Diles appeared in four games for the Browns and recorded two tackles for the team.
