Lions receiver Calvin Johnson has been hobbling through an ankle injury for two weeks, and now Johnson may be hurting even worse.

Johnson caught just one pass today against the Bills, took a hard hit to the lower leg after he caught it, and got up in obvious pain. Johnson walked to the locker room without assistance, but he appeared to be in pain.

FOX reported during the game broadcast that Johnson was going to have further evaluation on his injured ankle. There was no immediate word from the Lions on the nature of Johnson’s injury, but he appeared to grab his knee, not his ankle, when he went down.

Despite the injury to their best player, the Lions lead the Bills 14-3.
