The only flag on Dwayne Harris’ 90-yard punt return for a touchdown last Sunday night against the Redskins was on Redskins special teams coach Keith Burns for making contact with an official along the sideline, but the NFL has handed out a fine for another incident during that play.

Cowboys linebacker Cameron Lawrence has been fined $21,000 for a blindside block on Redskins cornerback David Amerson while Harris was making his return. Because Lawrence, who was playing his first game after being promoted from the practice squad, will pay out the fine in installments as he’s making the league minimum of $405,000 this season.

Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com reports that Lawrence will appeal the fine. Archer also reports that Cowboys safety Barry Church hasn’t heard anything from the league about fines for the pair of unnecessary roughness penalties he picked up during the game.

Amerson suffered a concussion on the play. He’s been limited in practice this week while making his way through the concussion protocol.
