After months of speculation that he could be moved, Vincent Jackson remained a restricted free agent whose rights are the property of the San Diego Chargers after today’s trade deadline.
And the Chargers apparently didn’t field any calls for Jackson today.
Bill Williamson of ESPN.com reports that there was no movement at all on a potential Jackson trade.
Jackson is now expected to report to the Chargers by October 31, as recommended by the players’ union to ensure he earns an accrued season toward unrestricted free agency.
