Controversy swirls over sound effects at Jim Tomsula press conference

At a time when the football-following world is trying to figure out what’s wrong with the 49ers, a separate issue has arisen.

The audio says it all. A sound is made during a press conference. That sound sounds a lot like the sound made when air escapes from the body in a quick, violent burst. Of sound.

Many believe that coach Jim Tomsula, who may or may not have smelt it, is the one who dealt it.

Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, who may or may not have been speaking with tongue in cheek (the other cheek), reports: “Jim Tomsula did not pass loud gas during his presser Wednesday. The sound came from a reporter sitting in leather seat near mic.”

ESPN’s John Clayton may or may not have been the reporter in question. Also, the dog.
