Draft order nearly filled in, Steelers to pick 25th

We’re a week away from the Senior Bowl and the intense scrutiny of the 2016 NFL Draft starting in earnest.

But we know most of the order for the teams that no longer have games to play. With the divisional round of the playoffs in the books, the first 28 slots in the draft are set.

The Steelers get the first crack among the three 10-6 teams that lost last weekend, and will pick 25th. Ties in draft order are based on strength of schedule. The Seahawks will draft 26th, the Packers 27th and the Chiefs 28th.

The 29th and 30th spots will go to this weekend’s conference championship losers, with the Super Bowl runner up picking 31st and the champion 32nd.

Of course, those last four spots come with an asterisk, since the Patriots have forfeited their first-rounder as part of last year’s #DeflateGate penalties.

3. Chargers: 4-12 (.527)

4. Cowboys: 4-12 (.531)

5. Jaguars: 5-11 (.473)

6. Ravens: 5-11 (.508)

9. Buccaneers: 6-10 (.484)

12. Saints: 7-9 (.504)
