Even though he was named NFL trainer of the year in 2014, Kevin O’Neill hasn’t been able to find work in the NFL since he was fired following the league’s investigation of bullying there.

But he has finally found work, without moving far.

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, O’Neill has been hired by nearby Florida International University.

O’Neill got the boot after failing to cooperate with the Ted Wells investigation, one of the many whose reputation took a huge hit from that. But unlike the bully Richie Incognito, O’Neill needed far more time to land on his feet.

After he was fired, reports emerged that the league pressured the Dolphins to fire O’Neill, whose work was praised by former Dolphins coach Jimmy Johnson.
