At a time when current NFL players are getting in trouble with far less frequency, former NFL players still find their fair share of problems.
The latest is veteran receiver Jabar Gaffney; via Jacksonville.com, Gaffney was arrested Friday on marijuana and other drug possession charges. At least one count is a felony.
Per the report, the 35-year-old Gaffney was released Friday night after posting $7,000 bond.
Gaffney played for the Texans, Patriots, Broncos, Washington, and Dolphins from 2002 through 2012, catching 447 career passes for 5,690 yards. The Dolphins cut Gaffney in November 2012, one day before the NFL suspended him two games for failing to report a 2010 arrest.
