The coaching staff of the Jacksonville Jaguars is getting prepared to coach the Senior Bowl in two weeks in Mobile, Ala. despite their lack of an offensive coordinator following the firing of Jedd Fisch.

However, the Jaguars have an interim plan in place for the game which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell told Alex Marvez of FOX Sports and Phil Savage on SiriusXM NFL Radio that Jacksonville quarterbacks coach Frank Scelfo will serve as offensive coordinator during the staff’s week in Alabama. Even if the Jaguars hire a new offensive coordinator prior to Senior Bowl week - Greg Roman and Marc Trestman are among candidates for the job - Scelfo will handle the duties in the interim.

Scelfo joined Gus Bradley’s staff in Jacksonville in 2013 after spending two seasons coaching quarterbacks at the University of Arizona.
