Justin Forsett, Steve Smith questionable for Sunday

On Friday, Ravens receiver Steve Smith said he doesn’t expect to play on Sunday, due to a back injury suffered 15 days ago against the Steelers. His team is more optimistic; Smith is listed as questionable for the game at San Francisco, which means he’s a 50-50 proposition to play.

Also questionable are running back Justin Forsett (ankle), linebacker Elvis Dumervil (thigh), tight end Crockett Gillmore (calf), receiver Chris Givens (ankle), receiver Steve Smith (back), and guard Marshal Yanda (ankle).

Cornerback Lardarius Webb (thigh) is doubtful, and safety Terrence Brooks (thumb), defensive end Chris Canty (calf), receiver Breshad Perriman (knee), and Darren Waller (concussion) are out.

If Forsett can’t play, rookie Buck Allen is expected to start. And if the 1-4 Ravens can’t beat the 1-4 49ers, it’s pretty much over for Baltimore this year.
