Last year, the NFL promulgated clear rules prohibiting the use of Twitter and other social media during games. The hard hit absorbed on Friday night by Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco apparently caused him to forget about the ban.
Ochocinco posted the following message at 9:53 p.m. ET: “Man Im sick of getting hit like that , its the damn preseason shit! 1day I’m gone jump up and start throwing hay makers , #Tylenolplease.”
The tweet apparently was posted during the third quarter of Friday night’s preseason game against the Eagles, after Ochocinco’s time in the game had ended.
So, yeah, he’ll probably be fined. And, yeah, he’ll probably complain about it. And, yeah, he’ll pay it.
And, yeah, he’ll likely do it again.
