Wide receiver Percy Harvin didn’t play much in his return to the NFL with the Bills in Week Nine and never touched the ball, but coach Rex Ryan said earlier this week that the team plans to use him as more than a decoy now that he’s had a few weeks back in the system.
Harvin said Wednesday that his body feels as good as it has in a long while and that he feels ready to take on more as the Bills try to end their three-game losing streak.
“I’m definitely to the point where I know I can go,” Harvin said, via NewYorkUpstate.com. “I don’t know how many years or how long or what not, but I definitely think I have a lot in my tank. Just coming out here now has answered that question for myself. I’m feeling good and my legs feel amazing. It should be nothing but going up from here on out.”
Harvin’s history says that any plans for the years to come are best written very faintly in pencil, but having him able to help the team in the near term is more significant given how little margin for error remains for a 4-5 team.
