PLAXICO BURRESS FINED $45,000

Plaxico Burress got a letter from the league office that made him a lot lighter in the wallet. Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Burress has been fined a grand total of $45,000 for three infractions on Sunday. Per Schefter, Burress was fined $20,000 for inappropriate comments about NFL officiating after the game, plus $20,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct related to his verbal abuse of the head linesman during the game. And Burress was also fined $5,000 for throwing the ball in the stands during the game.
