Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is now a defendant in a civil lawsuit stemming from his alleged role in a fight at an Arkansas piano bar, according to David White of the San Francisco Chronicle. The lawsuit was filed by a bouncer named Brant Hankins who got hurt during a brawl that sounds like it could have been in the movie, Roadhouse. Hankins has now added McFadden and his two brothers as “necessary parties” to the lawsuit, per McFadden’s lawyer, Frank Shaw. The bouncer is pursuing undisclosed compensatory and punitive damages after initially asking for $420,000 in damages from McFadden before dropping the claim. Four months before the Raiders picked McFadden in the first round out of Arkansas, the incident occurred in his hometown. McFadden was briefly handcuffed, but wasn’t ultimately charged after interceding to protect his younger brother during the fight. McFadden refused to settle with Hankins when he initially filed the complaint.
