Guard Randy Thomas’ return to the NFL was a brief one.
Signed by the Dolphins a week ago, Miami released the 12-year veteran on Wednesday. This probably marks the end of the road for Bill Parcells’ second round pick in 1999 with the New York Jets.
Thomas played four years in New York and seven with Washington, starting all 143 games of his career. He was trying to come back from a torn right triceps.
