The Bears are reportedly concerned defensive lineman Lamarr Houston’s knee injury could be significant.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bears “fear the worst” on Houston, who was injured after leaping in the air celebrating a sack in the fourth quarter of Chicago’s 51-23 loss at New England on Sunday.

Houston is set to get an MRI on his right knee on Monday, he said after the game, according to Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com.

“I probably shouldn’t have celebrated while they were blowing us out, but it happens. Landed wrong, tried to hop up, didn’t feel right, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow,” Houston said, according to ESPN Chicago.

The 27-year-old Houston signed with Chicago in the offseason. His sack of Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was his first of the season.
