The Texans don’t have a game to play this week, but it doesn’t look like they’ll have cornerback Kareem Jackson when they return to the field in Week 11.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that Jackson suffered a sprained MCL in last Sunday’s loss to the Eagles. He’s expected to miss up to a month while he recovers from the injury.

Jackson and Jonathan Joseph both left Sunday’s game in the first quarter and the Texans reserve cornerbacks had a hard time stopping Jeremy Maclin the rest of the way in a 31-21 loss. Joseph suffered a concussion and the extra time between games afforded by the bye week should help him recover in time for the next Houston game.

Jackson has missed just three games over the course of his career with the Texans and has started all nine games for them this year. A.J. Bouye will likely start in his place with Andre Hal, who got picked on often by Philadelphia, seeing more time whether or not Joseph is in the lineup.
