Seahawks take advantage of Chargers’ second turnover, lead 7-3

Justin Herbert threw an interception to Drake Thomas on the first play from scrimmage. Sam Darnold then threw an interception to Tuli Tuipulotu on the next play.

The Chargers took advantage with a 40-yard Cameron Dicker field goal to end an eight-play, 30-yard drive.

The Chargers weren’t as fortunate on their second turnover.

Derius Davis muffed a Michael Dickson punt that Connor O’Toole recovered for the Seahawks at the Chargers 23. Running back Emanuel Wilson caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Darnold.

It was Wilson’s first touchdown as a Seahawk.

The Seahawks lead 7-3.
