The Seahawks agreed to terms with free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold, but he has not signed and the NFL reportedly will place him on the commissioner’s exempt list if he does. That leaves the Seahawks still looking for cornerback help.
Seattle worked out free agent cornerback Trevon Diggs, according to the NFL’s personnel notice.
Diggs played at Alabama when Seahawks defensive backs coach Karl Scott was there, and he played under Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde in Dallas.
The Lions recently worked out Diggs.
Diggs, 27, became a free agent Jan. 20 when the Packers cut him after two games and 34 snaps. The Packers had claimed him off waivers from the Cowboys on Dec. 31.
Diggs led the league with 11 interceptions in 2021, but he has not been the same player since his knee problems began in 2023. He tore his ACL in September 2023 and underwent an additional surgery on his knee in December 2024.
In January 2025, Diggs underwent a chondral tissue and bone graft surgery on his left knee to repair persistent cartilage damage.
He has played only 22 games over the past three seasons.
The Cowboys drafted Diggs in the second round in 2020, and he was twice a Pro Bowler and, in 2021, was an All-Pro.
