Shaun Cody Heads To Texans

Free-agent defensive tackle Shaun Cody, after spending more than three weeks on the shelf, has landed in Houston. Cody will sign a three-year, $6 million deal with the Texans, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. He’s the second player that the Texans have signed this month from the Lions, the first team in league history to go winless in 16 regular-season games. Cody will serve as a backup to Amobi Okoye and Travis Johnson.
