SIXTEEN BRONCOS LISTED AS PROBABLE

A whopping sixteen members of the Denver Broncos’ roster -- nearly a third of the entire roster -- appear on the final injury report for Week Seventeen. But since all sixteen are listed as probable, it’s likely that all of them will play, especially since the designation of “probable” technically means there’s a virtual certainty that a given player will be available for normal duty. The sixteen injured Broncos are cornerback Champ Bailey (groin), cornerback Josh Bell (knee), tackle Ryan Clady (ankle), tight end Daniel Graham (ankle), tackle Ryan Harris (back), linebacker Niko Koutouvides (back), guard Chris Kuper (hand), linebacker Spencer Larsen (groin), safety Marquand Manuel (ankle), receiver Brandon Marshall (hip), safety Marlon McCree (ankle), tight end Chad Mustard (knee), cornerback Karl Paymah (groin), receiver Eddie Royal (thumb), receiver Brandon Stokley (foot), and linebacker D.J. Williams (knee, shoulder). All sixteen players fully participated in practice on Thursday and Friday. The Broncos meet the Chargers on Sunday night in San Diego. With a win or a tie, Denver wins the AFC West. Lose, and the Chargers will take the division.
