Today’s edition of Pro Football Talk includes a look at the status of some of the remaining free agents with recognizable names. Which as required some advance sleuthing regarding the players in question.
Which has given me some stuff I can parlay into a post.
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been available since before the launch of free agency, since the Giants cut him. He had a visit with and took a physical for the Steelers, who opted to check on his surgically-repaired foot in the coming weeks.
We’re told that the Broncos and Packers also are interested in Bradshaw, who rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2012, despite missing two full games.
At this point, teams may decide to wait to see if they can get any running backs they like in the draft before signing a veteran whose tires are missing tread.
