The Steelers’ injured incumbent left tackle has been looking around, so they found someone who can fill that role.
According to Troy Renck of the Denver Post, Broncos free agent Ryan Harris has signed a two-year, $3.9 million deal with the Steelers.
That gives them cover if Kelvin Beachum leaves town. He’s been making visits, despite the fact he tore his ACL in October.
The Steelers had also offered Seahawks tackle Russell Okung a deal, and it’s unclear if that’s still on the table or not.
Harris, 31, started all 16 games last year at left tackle for the Broncos. He has 70 career starts, and has also had stints with the Texans and Chiefs.
