Cornerback Tarell Brown had a visit with the Patriots in May and he says he’s also heard from one of the teams the Patriots beat in the playoffs last season.
Brown told Alex Marvez and Zig Fracassi of Sirius XM NFL Radio that the Ravens are part of a group of four teams that have spoken to his agent about bringing Brown on board for the 2015 season. Brown didn’t share the identity of any of the other teams.
Brown also said that he’s almost fully recovered from the broken navicular bone in his foot that he played through for almost all of last season. Brown suffered the injury in the fourth week of the season, but remained in the Raiders starting lineup through Week 15.
The Ravens have already signed Kyle Arrington to go with Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb, which would likely leave Brown to compete for snaps down the depth chart if he does land in Baltimore.
