Rams cornerback LaMarcus Joyner is probably going to be hearing from the league this week.
Joyner hit Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in the head while Bridgewater was sliding at the end of a run in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game, drawing a well-deserved flag for unnecessary roughness. Joyner’s hit came well after Bridgewater was in his slide and his elbow struck Bridgewater in the head.
Bridgewater was taken out of the game after the Joyner hit and headed to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.
Shaun Hill is now in at quarterback for the Vikings, who lead 18-15 with 12 minutes left to play in the game.
