Ravens receiver Torrey Smith plans to play tonight after spending most of the day grieving the loss of his younger brother in a motorcycle accident.

Smith left the team hotel at about 2 a.m. today when he was informed that his younger brother, Tevin, had died. But ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reports that Torrey Smith is at the stadium and planning to play tonight against the Patriots.

Smith wrote about his grief on Twitter this morning.

“I can’t believe my little brother is gone...be thankful for your loved ones and tell them you love them...this is the hardest thing ever,” Smith wrote. “I can’t say a bad thing about him...proud to have him as a brother...RIP Tevin.”
