In year two of its existence, the UFL will once again televise its games via Versus and HDNet. SportsBusiness Daily points out the broadcast schedule for the five-team league, which also features to Hartford Colonials games to be aired on NESN.
In 2009, the games also were streamed via the Internet; it’s unknown whether the UFL will again make the games available online.
For 2010, the UFL wisely moved teams away from cities that host NFL franchises, shifting the California Redwoods from San Francisco to Sacramento (they’re now the Mountain Lions) and sliding the New York Sentinels to Hartford. The league also added a team in Omaha. The other two franchises are in Las Vegas and Orlando.
The season begins on Saturday, September 18.
