Vick Chew Toy Company Gets Sued

In the wake of the whole Mike Vick scandal of 2007, a company marketed a dog chew toy in the image of the man who currently is residing in the land of Toto. The company is now facing a problem of its own, however, because it allegedly failed to make good on a commitment to donate the proceeds of the sale to an animal shelter. And so the Jacksonville-based company is being sued by Florida’s attorney general. The company also marketed a doll named after Caylee Anthony, who went missing and allegedly was murdered by her mother. The suit claims that the company promised to donate proceeds to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. To date, the donations have been limited to only $10, according to the lawsuit. And you can still buy it, right here. It actually comes in two versions -- football uniform Vick and prison garb Vick.
