    Steelers re-signed C Ryan McCollum.
The backup center gets a one-year deal, which makes sense for all involved. McCollum has spent the last two seasons with the Steelers. He earned a 50.2 PFF offense grade via 153 regular season snaps in 2024 and a 69.0 PFF offense grade via eight snaps in 2025.

Steelers C Zach Frazier is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
The Steelers’ starting center got his ankle rolled up on during a run in the third quarter and had to be helped off the field by two trainers. Although Frazier had his ankle taped up and wanted to go back into the game, the Steelers opted to send him to the locker room for more evaluation. With Pittsburgh up 22-7 at that point, it’s possible the team was just being cautious. They will now turn to third-string center Ryan McCollum since Nate Herbig is on the IR with a shoulder injury of his own.

    Lions re-signed C Ryan McCollum to a one-year, $750,000 contract.
Claimed off the Texans’ practice squad last October, McCollum ended up suiting up for 13 games, starting one. He just turned 24 yers old. It’s a zero-risk move for the Lions, but they could have non-tendered McCollum if they did not like what they saw in 2021. Perhaps he will push for a bigger role in 2022. ERFA LB Rashod Berry has also been tendered for $750,000.

    Lions signed C Ryan McCollum.
The Lions sniped him from Houston’s practice squad to add depth at the offensive line. Detroit is suddenly thin in the trenches with Taylor Decker and Frank Ragnow expected to miss Week 5 and potentially beyond. McCollum is simply a depth piece at the moment.

Texas A&M senior OL Ryan McCollum declared for the NFL Draft.
McCollum (6'5/305) started every game this year at center for a stellar Aggies offensive line that was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award and allowed only seven sacks all season. The former three star prospect started a total of 24 games at both guard and center over his A&M career, while braving an injury marred 2019 campaign. Current projections have McCollum pegged in the Day 3 mix for this year’s NFL Draft.

The Athletic’s Stewart Mandel notes that Texas A&M junior OL Ryan McCollum spent most of the spring as the starting center.
The Aggies lost Erik McCoy to the NFL, as he was the 48th pick by the New Orleans Saints in last April’s draft. McCollum was a three-star recruit, and the 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman started six games at guard last year. Replacing a talent like McCoy will be very difficult, but it sounds like McCollum will get the first crack at it.

Texas A&M redshirt freshman OL Ryan McCollum was arrested for reckless driving on Saturday.
McCollum (6'5/295) was arrested after several unsafe driving maneuvers on Saturday, with the redshirt freshman lineman very nearly colliding with another vehicle at one point. The Aggies have made no move to publicly discipline McCollum as of yet, but said that they are aware of the incident and are following the policies of the athletic department. He was a seven-game starter last season.
