Browns signed Appalachian State CB Shaun Jolly.
Jolly (5’9/175) is a three-year starter that earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors in his three seasons as a starter and was a 2019 second-team All-American per PFF. That 2019 season was a breakout for him, posting a PFF grade of 91.7 overall and 91.4 in coverage. He put up excellent numbers allowing career-highs in interceptions (5), pass breakups (10), and passer rating (54.9). He never came close to matching that level of play and dealt with some injuries in 2021, missing four games towards the end of the season. His lack of length could force him to be a slot-only player in the NFL.
