The Raiders are expected to make Teyo Johnson active on gameday for the first time all season in week nine.
The former starter has been buried on the depth chart until now. He has no fantasy value.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson isn’t happy about his perceived drop on the Oakland depth chart.
Johnson erupted after a fight in practice yesterday. He thinks the coaching staff is unfairl punishing him for going on an NFL-sponsored trip to China during the summer. Turner will use his tight ends, but the quality depth in Oakland may cancel out Johnson and Doug Jolley’s fantasy potential.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson caught a TD pass on the first ball thrown to him this year.
The Raiders may play Johnson more down the stretch to see what they have in the second-year player.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson remains Oakland’s No. 4 tight end.
He’s running the scout team work, behind Doug Jolley, Roland Williams, and Courtney Anderson. Strange stuff for such a promising player.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson is inactive for today’s game.
Quite a fall from grace from the promising former starter. He obviously should be dropped in re-draft fantasy leagues.
  • BUF Tight End
Raiders declared QB Rich Gannon, WR Johnnie Morant, RB Tyrone Wheatley, LB Sam Williams, OG Ron Stone, TE Teyo Johnson, DT Tommy Kelly, and DE Grant Irons inactive for week five.
No surprises. Johnson remains buried at tight end. Wheatley is out for 2-4 weeks, Amos Zereoue and Zach Crockett should split carries.
  • BUF Tight End
Raiders TE Teyo Johnson is inactive today.
The other Raider inactives are: WR Carlos Francis, QB Rich Gannon, WR Johnnie Morant, LB Sam Williams, T Chad Slaughter, DT Tommy Kelly, DE/LB Grant Irons.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson played in his first game of the year Sunday and will play a larger role moving forward.
Johnson will get more playing time following the injuries to Courtney Anderson and Roland Williams. He’s still behind Doug Jolley on the team’s depth chart.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson, at one point believed to be the starter, has fallen to perhaps as low as fourth on the TE depth chart in Oakland.
Johnson didn’t get into Saturday’s game until late in the third quarter. Similar to their situation at running back, the Raiders have a collection of average players at tight end, any one of whom could be worthy of a fantasy roster spot if he saw the bulk of the playing time. As it is, it’s difficult to recommend any of Doug Jolley, Roland Williams, or Johnson.
  • BUF Tight End
Teyo Johnson caught three passes for 49 yards and a touchdown in week 15.
He’s wildly athletic for a tight end and still has a shot to be a factor for the Raiders. But he’s only out of Norv Turnver’s offense because of injuries.
