Raiders traded CB Jakorian Bennett to the Eagles for DT Thomas Booker.
The move should be considered a depth move for both franchises as neither player were expected to open the 2025 season as starters. That said, the move makes sense for both teams as it addresses relative weaknesses. We should see more trades go down as teams work through their respective depth charts as we inch closer to the start of the regular season.

Stanford DE Thomas Booker has met with multiple NFL teams throughout the pre-draft process.
After putting up his best season in terms of total tackles with the Stanford Cardinal and spending four seasons with the team, Booker (6'4/310) is taking his talents to the NFL. According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Booker had a Top 30 visit with the Houston Texans, attended Baltimore Ravens local day and has met virtually with the likes of the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.

  • LV Defensive Tackle #99
Stanford signed four-star 2018 DE Thomas Booker.
Booker (6'5/290) committed to play at Stanford in October in what essentially was a head-to-head battle with Notre Dame. 247 Sports lists him as the 12th best defensive end in the class, while ESPN has him a few spots lower at 24. Either way, Booker is a talented end who has also could play at tight end with soft hands and surprising speed. Whatever side of the ball Booker is on, he should help.
