Patriots signed LB Titus Leo off Indianapolis’ practice squad.
It’s a depth shuffling for New England, who put Curtis Jacobs (head) on injured reserve and waived Ochaun Mathis. Leo has no NFL snaps yet as a 2023 sixth-round pick for the Colts. He did have a 64.1 PFF preseason grade in 2023.
  • PHI Defensive End #52
Colts selected Wagner EDGE Titus Leo with the No. 211 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
A Brooklyn native, Leo (6'3/245) spent his entire college career at nearby Wagner. A former wide receiver/safety hybrid, Leo ended up becoming an edge-rushing linebacker. He is a plus athlete who plays with a “hair on fire” mentality. Leo is elderly for a rookie, turning 24 in August. He will likely have to prove his worth on special teams to clinch a 53-man roster spot and get a chance to develop as a situational pass rusher.
