Rams signed WR Tyler Scott to their practice squad.
Scott is a former fourth-round draft pick by the Bears, tallying 18 receptions for 173 yards in two seasons with the team. He was the odd man out in the Chicago pass-catching group heading into the season and was released in August. Scott has bounced around the Colts and Seahawks since then and now joins the Rams practice squad with Tutu Atwell hitting injured reserve. CB Tre Brown was cut in a corresponding move.

KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reports the Commanders are working out free agent RB Demetric Felton.
Felton spent all of training camp with the Commanders and can provide the pass-catching threat the Commanders lost after Austin Ekeler’s Achilles injury. Even if Felton lands in Washington, it seems unlikely the team would move to activate him on game day early on. Veteran Jeremy McNichols will likely get the first crack at a third-down role and has 49 career receptions to his name. Felton hasn’t played an offensive snap since 2022. In addition to Felton, the Commanders also worked out RBs Khalil Herbert and Nyheim Hines, and DBs Tre Brown, Alex Johnson, and Trayvon Mullen.
  • SF Cornerback #22
49ers agreed to terms with CB Tre Brown, formerly of the Seahawks, to a one-year contract.
Brown appeared in 28 games and started ten games for the Seahawks over the past two seasons. He has two interceptions over 39 NFL games since entering the league in 2021. Brown will join a San Francisco secondary graded by PFF as last season’s third-best coverage unit.
  • SEA Cornerback #27
Seahawks CB Riq Woolen (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Woolen has missed two straight weeks with an ankle injury, though his limited practice to start the week bodes well for his Week 8 return. Fellow cornerbacks Tre Brown (ankle) and Nehemiah Pritchett (ankle) did not practice, keeping the secondary thin to begin the week.
  • SEA Cornerback #22
Seahawks CB Tre Brown (ankle) ruled out for Week 7 against the Falcons.
The Seahawks will be without two cornerback starters for this one, which signals a potential pass-happy shootout. Hopefully, the unit can return to full health for the Seahawks’ Week 8 game against the Bills.
  • SEA Defensive Back #22
Seahawks CB Tre Brown suffered a hand injury in Seattle’s Week 6 game against the 49ers and will not return.
Deemed questionable early in the second half, Brown was later ruled out. He’s been replaced by fifth-round rookie, Nehemiah Pritchett who has arguably played better.
  • SEA Defensive Back #27
Seahawks CB Tariq Woolen (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Woolen looks to be dealing with a hamstring injury entering Week 2. He got off to a good start in Week 1, snagging an interception in the Seahawks’ Week 1 victory. Fellow cornerback Tre Brown (quadricep) was also limited in Wednesday’s practice, though there is no concern yet for the Seahawks secondary. Barring additional news on either player’s injury being worse than initially seen, Woolen and Brown are in good shape to play Week 2 against the Pats.
  • SEA Defensive Back #22
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said DB Tre Brown has entered concussion protocol.
The Seahawks continue to be bit by the injury bug. Brown played in place of injured cornerback Tariq Woolen in Sunday’s win over the Panthers, but exited with a head injury and will now have to be cleared in time for Week 4’s matchup against the Giants. The Seahawks don’t play until Monday, giving Brown some extra time to get cleared, but Carroll also said Woolen is on track to return in Week 4.
  • SEA Defensive Back #22
Seahawks DB Tre Brown (concussion) will not return to Week 3 against the Panthers.
Seattle entered the game with seven normal starters inactive with injury and have already seen three additional starters depart the game in Week 3. Brown will likely now be faced with clearing the league’s five-step concussion protocol in time to play in Week 4.
  • NYJ Cornerback #30
Seahawks activated CB Tre Brown (knee) off the reserve/PUP list.
It was the final day Brown had to be activated, but Brown had “practiced beautifully” according to Pete Carroll last week. The Seahawks are on bye, so Brown will get an extra week of practice before returning to the fold in Week 12. It’ll be interesting to see if the Seahawks think enough of Brown to put him in front of Coby Bryant, Tariq Woolen, or Michael Jackson, all of whom are playing good-to-solid football.
