NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Titans are hiring Tyke Tolbert as their WR coach.
Tolbert spent time with Titans head coach Brian Callahan in Denver and Chicago. His 2023 season with the Bears resulted in D.J. Moore turning in a career-best 96-1364-8 receiving line, while his resume as a receiver coach dates back to 1999 at Louisiana-Lafayette. Tolbert and the Titans have some work to do at receiver this offseason. While DeAndre Hopkins, 32, remains under contract through 2024, the team needs to get better at the position. Additionally, former first-round pick Treylon Burks has dealt with multiple injuries throughout his career and has struggled to produce when on the field.

Bears hired Tyke Tolbert as passing game coordinator and WRs coach.
Tolbert took an interview for Minnesota’s OC job in 2021, and will now leave New York’s staff to join the Bears under new OC Luke Getsy. They also hired Andrew Janocko, Minnesota’s QB coach in 2021, to coach their quarterbacks. The room is filling out nicely for the Bears, who are benefitting from getting their head coach in place before several other teams.

The Vikings are interviewing Giants wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert for the team’s offensive coordinator opening.
Tolbert would bring continuity to the Minnesota offense since he worked under former Vikings offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak in Denver during their run to Super Bowl 50. Tolbert, a coach in the league since 2003, has coached Giants receivers for the past three years, developing wideouts Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. Tolbert worked with Emmanuel Sanders, Wes Welker, Eric Decker, and Demaryius Thomas during Peyton Manning’s dominant years in Denver. He’s a legit contender to inherit Kubiak’s job in Minnesota.
