Texans waived QB Tyler Sheehan, OT Adam Ulatoski, WR London Crawford, OG Kristian Matte, LB Will Patterson, and FB Jack Corcoran.
All were undrafted rookies. Sheehan, from Bowling Green, was beat out by John David Booty for the third-string QB job heading to camp. Corcoran became expendable following Wednesday’s signing of Justin Griffith. The Houston Chronicle jinxed Ulatoski by publishing a feature on him Tuesday morning.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said that John David Booty and Tyler Sheehan are competing for one spot at training camp.
The Texans aren’t going to be able to bring four quarterbacks to camp thanks to all their tight end injury woes. Booty is the favorite to be there over Sheehan, an undrafted free agent. Dan Orlovsky appears locked in as Matt Schaub’s backup.
