Colts placed KR T.J. Rushing (knee) and TE Zac Herold on injured reserve Tuesday, ending their seasons.

Rushing was having a very solid camp, but he suffered a ligament injury while covering a punt in Indy’s first preseason game. Pierre Garcon, Devin Aromashodu and Courtney Roby will now battle to return kicks. Herold was to provide depth at tight end, but suffered a knee injury in the last preseason game.
