Tigers signed RHP Nick Vincent to a minor league contract.
Vincent didn’t have to wait very long to find a new home after being released by the Braves back in late June. The 35-year-old veteran right-hander, who has made 412 appearances in the majors over a 10-year career, dating back to 2012, will serve as organizational relief depth for the Tigers.

    Braves released RHP Nick Vincent.
Vincent signed a minor league contract with the Braves back in and March has been cut loose after allowing 16 runs (11 earned) on 29 hits with a 27/4 K/BB ratio across 19 1/3 innings this season at Triple-A Gwinnett. There’s a chance the well-traveled 35-year-old righty finds a new opportunity, but will likely have to settle for another minor league pact.

Braves reassigned RHP Nick Vincent, RHP R.J. Alaniz, C Hendrik Clementina, OF Jesse Franklin, INF Yariel González, INF Vaughn Grissom and INF Braden Shewmake to minor league camp.
The Braves’ cutdowns continue as they’re left with 45 players in major-league camp. Vincent and Alaniz, a pair of righty relievers with big-league experience, are the most prominent names in this latest batch.

Braves signed RHP Nick Vincent to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Vincent, 35, spent the 2021 season in the Twins organization where he compiled a stellar 0.71 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 9/5 K/BB ratio over 12 2/3 innings at the big league level. Unfortunately for him, he’s joining an incredibly deep and talented bullpen in Atlanta -- therefore making it extremely unlikely that he’ll crack the Opening Day roster.

The move frees up a spot on the Twins’ 40-man roster.

The right-hander was designated for assignment earlier in the week, but passed through waivers unclaimed and accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A. The 35-year-old hurler will continue to function as additional bullpen depth for the Twins.

Twins designated RHP Nick Vincent for assignment.
Vincent logged only two relief appearances during his short stay on Minnesota’s active roster. This move clears out a spot for Lewis Thorpe, who is starting Wednesday versus the Indians.

Twins signed RHP Nick Vincent to a minor league contract.
That was fast. Vincent was released by the Rangers on Tuesday and finds a new home a day later. The right-hander had a 4.11 ERA and 22/7 K/BB ratio over 15 1/3 innings at Triple-A Round Rock. He’ll head to Triple-A now with the Twins, and could help the Minnesota bullpen at some point this summer.
