San Diego State redshirt senior TE Nolan Givan entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Givan (6'3/260) is in the transfer portal for the second time in his college career, as he transferred to San Diego State from Ball State in December 2019. The redshirt senior tight end appeared in eight games for the Aztecs this past season, catching three passes for 34 yards. Two of those receptions came in San Diego State’s final game of the season, a loss to BYU. Givan will have one season of eligibility at his next stop, and he will be able to play immediately as a grad transfer.

  • Former Ball State redshirt junior TE Nolan Givan has transferred to San Diego State.
Givan (6'3/256) has already graduated from his former school, Ball State, and will play out his final season in sunny San Diego. As a grad-transfer, he will not be required to sit out the 2020 season and will be eligible to play immediately. Givan missed all over October with and undisclosed injury that caused him to play in only 6 games this year. He only posted 12 catches for 92 yards this season for the Cardinals and will start prepping for SDSU’s spring practice sessions.
